ALASKA CRUISE – ROYAL CARIBBEAN’S OVATION OF THE SEAS

You’ll climb aboard Ovation of the Seas in Seattle, then settle in for the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean and animals who call it home. You’ll traverse the Alaskan and Canadian coastline, stopping first in the state capital of Juneau, home to misty rainforests, snowcapped mountains, massive glaciers and bountiful wildlife. Next, you’ll visit the small-but-charming town of Skagway, rich in Klondike Gold Rush history. Day Five brings a stop in Sitka, where you’ll find some of the state’s most postcard-worthy scenes among its snow-capped peaks and volcanic Mount Edgecumbe. Your final port is in Victoria, British Columbia, home to Canada’s oldest Chinatown and the amazing architecture of Craigdarroch Castle.

There’s plenty to keep you entertained on Ovation of the Seas, which is one of the largest ships to sail the Alaskan coast at 1,138 feet long, 16 decks high and weighing in at 168,666 tons!

Rise to the occasion and take on the signature rock climbing wall. Then, on the RipCord by iFLY simulator, you can earn your wings and fly without ever leaving the ship. 

When you’re done, slide into SeaPlex for a round of bumper cars or to roller skate. Play a game of billiards, shoot some hoops, do a little shopping, attend circus school or take a scrapbooking class – the options are endless!

When the adventure winds down, it will be time to bring on a little edge-of-your-seat entertainment. Score a front-row view of the mesmerizing acrobatics and visual effects in the aerial show “Live.Love.Legs.” Or head over to Pixels, where art meets tech in an epic combination of live performance, music and experimental cinematography.

After the show, grab a drink at Bionic Bar, where you will meet two robotic bartenders who know how to shake, stir and mix up your night. These mixologists can create an almost endless combination of cocktails. You can also head over to Two70 Bar, where live entertainment pairs with amazing multimedia visuals across a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows. When evening turns to night, the bar will transform into a nightclub that keeps the party going all night long.

From casual to elegant, the ship offers dining options for every palate. Taste an assortment of global cuisines and American favorites alongside spectacular views. Each evening at 7:45 p.m., you’ll have the option of joining us for dinner in a reserved section of the main dining room. Enjoy meals from a range of included restaurants or splurge on specialty dining at a surcharge. A deluxe beverage package is included, featuring wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
